Mineral wool, made from mineral fibers, is the insulating material and most common absorption in construction and industrial uses.
It is characterized as non-flammable, does not melt and contains micro vents (bumps) which are those that provide the material its acoustic and thermal unique, innovative and high quality qualities.
In addition it is a very light weight material, very flexible and elastic, which finally allows ease of installation.
It is applied as acoustic and thermal insulation in the industry, building, and air conditioning systems. Glass wool absorbent is an ideal acoustical material because it is able to trap the sound within the fiber network, by limiting its spread.
It is designed to cover basically the same objectives as glass wool, while the only difference between them is the heat resistance, which is higher in the case of rockwool (up to 650C). Both acoustic materials are considered environmentally friendly.
